The Helena Public Art Committee (HPAC) held its first annual Chalk Up Helena! in 2008. This family-friendly event invites everyone to join in creating chalk art on Helena's Downtown Walking Mall.

Chalk Up Helena! - Coming July 20, 2013
The City of Helena Public Art Committee will host the 6th annual Chalk Up Helena! sidewalk chalk art festival on the south end of the Downtown Helena Walking Mall on July 20, 2013.
Chalk artists may enter in 5 different categories:
10 years old and younger, 3 x 3-foot square: $5.00/square; free if you bring your own chalk
11 - 14 years old: $5.00/square
15 - 18 years old: $5.00/square
19 years old and older: $10.00/square
Family: $10.00/square OR an adult creating chalk art with a child
Judges' and Peoples' Choice awards for this family-friendly tobacco-free event are presented to chalk artists in each category.
